Download, Install, and Open ADD

Download and Install:

Go to https://add.app/ and click on “Download”

Type in your:

• First Name
• Last Name
• Email Address

Then click “Submit”. Your download will start right away.

Once the download is complete, open the .dmg file, and you will be guided through the installation process. Once installed, ADD will open.

Interactive Tutorial:

Upon the first time opening ADD, you will be guided through a quick Walkthrough to help you understand the best use and practices of ADD while quickly explaining some of its deep functionalities and hotkeys. It is highly recommended that you follow the tutorial and press the buttons along with it. And since we’re all about saving time, we made sure to make the tutorial as quick and concise as possible!

ADD will start by having you download the Demo Pack from the Sound Pack Manager. More information on the Sound Pack manager can be found in the next couple of sections. Once the pack is downloaded and installed, the tutorial will begin.

If you wish to exit the tutorial, you can click the little “X” icon in the top left of the pop-ups.

If you ever want to revisit the Interactive Tutorial, you can do so in the Help Menu.

ADD Startup Window:

Your second time opening ADD and so on, you will see the ADD Startup Window.

In this window you can select to start a new project, open a recent project from the pool below, restart the Interactive Tour, go to the tutorials page of the ADD website, or click “Download More Sounds” to open the Sound Pack Manager.

If you’re not sure what you wanna do yet, you can click the “X” icon at the top left of the window to exit.

You can also disable this menu on startup by clicking the check box at the bottom left.
