Introducing Audio Design Desk 2.0

feature-auto-level

Auto Level

Need to balance your mix quickly? Auto Level uses ADD’s content-aware timeline to automatically adjust gain levels for an audio element.

This results in a balanced first draft of a mix. Create mixes based on LUFS standards, ranging from television and radio to digital streaming and social media. You can even create your own auto-level presets.

ADD cue sheet

Cue Sheet Panel

Creating cue sheets by hand is a pain in the neck. To solve this, ADD 2.0 now automatically generates a list of the sounds and music in your project.

The tracker includes publishing information, in and out points and other relevant metadata, so you can hand it off to your supervisor with peace of mind.

feature-extensions

Audio Bridge

Audio Design Desk is the only DAW offering direct integrations with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, and Avid Media Composer. Sound plays a major role in the moviegoing experience.

Yet despite nearly a century of filmmaking, it’s still as difficult as ever to source and sync audio to video. ADD’s Audio Bridge solves this by attaching sound layers directly to the NLE timeline.

ADD 2.0 search

Improved Search

Find the best sounds for your video without wasting any time. We’ve revamped the search interface, organizing audio into high level categories like sound effect, sound design, and music.

The new semantic search tool looks for related terms and serves most relevant results first. Toggle the advanced filters and narrow down the results, until you pinpoint the precise sound you need.

feature-replace

Magic Replacement Tools

The creative process is all about staying in the flow. In ADD, you can instantly place a sound on the video timeline using triggers. Then replace that sound immediately with a similar audio file, without losing sync.

Curate your work to perfection. Filter by intensity, complexity, genre, and mood. ADD uses the sync points on each audio file to make sure the new file is automatically positioned in the right

user login screen

User Login

The new user portal makes it easy to login and manage your subscription. Review your existing purchases and if you’re on an active recurring plan, check the user dashboard to see when the billing cycle renews.

As a member of Audio Design Desk, you automatically get generative audio coins to work with each month. The coin counter can be found in this dashboard as well.

feature-metadata

Metadata Panel

Every audio file in the ADD sound library comes with a rich metadata profile with file genre, mood, feel, complexity, intensity, loudness, tempo, duration, and sample rate.

Upload your own audio collection to automatically detect and tag the files with metadata. Edit these properties at any time and preview the sound from this panel.

feature-triggers

New Custom Triggers

We’ve redesigned the trigger pads to unleash unlimited sonic potential, right from your MIDI and QWERTY keyboards. Assign any sound to a trigger and tap along with your video to lay them down on your audio timeline.

Timing the audio with visuals is like playing Guitar Hero, but for professional video editors. Have fun while saving hours manually chopping and positioning audio clips.

feature-media-bridge

Media Bridge

Access audio and video files from nearly every stock media site, right within Audio Design Desk.

ADD will tag and organize files for you automatically, making it easier than ever to access the content you need for your projects.

feature-workspaces

Custom Workspaces

We know it takes time to set up your workspaces and configure everything the way you want it. ADD 2.0 now offers the option to save and recall customized workspaces and window sets.

Edit the templates as needed and save new variants, to build up a collection of project configuration presets for future videos.
