This document outlines the usage rights and licensing terms for sound content accessed through +Sounds. Each subscription tier includes specific usage rights designed to meet the needs of different types of creators.
All sounds available through +Sounds are licensed, not sold. The rights granted are non-exclusive and worldwide for the permitted uses outlined in each tier.
Many sounds in the +Sounds ecosystem are Creative Commons, meaning you can use these sounds as long as you provide attribution. We’ll clearly indicate which files require attribution when you download them. For all other files, attribution is not required and the licensing terms detailed below apply.
For all tiers, a standard project threshold of $1 million USD applies. Projects with a total budget exceeding this amount require an Enterprise license or a custom licensing agreement. Contact our licensing team for projects above this threshold.
A distinct profile, account, or page on a social media platform that publishes content. For example, one YouTube channel, one Instagram account, one TikTok account.
Any work created specifically for a third party where the sound is incorporated into content owned by the third party.
Earning revenue from content through advertising, sponsorships, subscription models, or direct sales.
The total allocated funds for producing a piece of content, including all production costs, talent fees, and post-production expenses.
Customers who purchased a perpetual license of Audio Design Desk retain access to all sound packs included in their original purchase when using +Sounds. These sounds are available under the same licensing terms as their original purchase.
